Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Beatriz Montoya and Steven Shelfer to the Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
Montoya, 52, of Hollywood, is a medical technologist at Memorial Regional Hospital South. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning June 17, 2014, and ending October 31, 2015.
Shelfer, 63, of Cape Coral, is a medical technologist at Florida Hospital. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning June 17, 2014, and ending October 31, 2016.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
